ABOUT THE CLUB
The Schlaubemündung Odertal e.V. support association became the RGV Schlaube-Oderland e.V. association. The original association was founded on June 28, 2010 in connection with the Brieskow-Finkenheerd office’s 2020 development concept. Task areas such as tourism, location development and economic development were brought to life through numerous activities and concepts. However, decisive progress and successes were achieved, especially in the area of tourism. The certification of the German Tourism Association as a “tourist information” was therefore also targeted. The services were checked based on a catalog of criteria. The effort and work were rewarded in 2011, as we received the coveted “red i” in 2011 as a sign of high quality standards.

After a good 10 years, we know our strengths and also our opportunities to have a qualitative influence on the development of life in the Brieskow-Finkenheerd office and to implement ideas. Based on analyzes of previous projects, the association’s areas of responsibility were revised. It was decided together that we wanted to take on a new challenge. The basis of all current and future tasks of the association will be to develop and establish the Oder Schlaubeland tourism region. Today we are the contact for things worth knowing, things to see, events, insider tips, but also an important cooperation partner for the preparation, support and implementation of innovative ideas and projects in connection with German-Polish cooperation. Tourism strategic planning, tourist marketing, the infrastructural attractiveness of our region as well as supporting members in creating a market-driven offer, guest care and event management are largely part of our tasks. Managing all of this can only be achieved through interaction with many actors who support us from the idea through to implementation.
